Seasonal Theme: Intermediate

In this intermediate course you'll learn to create a stylized centerpiece design in a
premium compote container. Using a classic fall palette of autumn oranges, moody reds,
earthy neutrals, and textural elements, we'll build a striking centerpiece fit to show off at
your Thanksgiving gathering. You'll gain industry tricks on mechanics, and thoughtful
design skills to take with you into your future designs.

Yellow: the make it or break it color in floral design. In this color focus class, we'll touch on
various shades, explore perfect pairings, and go over the 'never ever' combo list. Amy will
guide you in building a gorgeous fall themed arrangement around this tricky color, while
we discuss the value of color theory in floral design, and how to make yellow florals look
elegant and eye-catching, rather than cheap and tacky

Did someone say... Dahlias?! That's right, the season's favorite blooms are back in town! In
this class, we'll discuss all things dahlias - from growing and conditioning, to (honestly) the
best part: designing and displaying them in all their natural beauty. Whether you're
interested in growing or simply want to hone in your design skills with this late-summer
favorite - if you love dahlias, this one is not to miss!

Sept 17th- Late Summer, Meet Early Fall

Color Focus: Beginner

In this color focus class, we'll bridge the gap between summer and autumn with a warm,
lively palette of deep pinks, spicy corals, and vibrant oranges - while tying in natural
textures and tones to welcome the start of the fall season. Amy will guide you in
thoughtful stem placement for a whimsical, modern arrangement, while discussing the
value of utilizing color theory in floral design.

Industry Focus: Beginner - Intermediate

Step into a world of Virginia grown floral abundance with fresh blooms, literally straight
from the farm. The amazing local farms we partner with reside in the Northern VA region,
so each variety is about as fresh as can be. We'll guide you through conditioning latesummer
favorites like zinnias, marigolds, cosmos, and dahlias (if we're lucky!) before we
create a lively, colorful, seasonal stunner in a lovely ceramic pot.

Novelty Theme: Beginner

Special moments call for extra love and care! In this class you'll learn how to jazz up a
table setting for any event type, and we'll specifically discuss bud vase florals with summer
graduations and garden parties in mind. With a set of 5 vintage glass bud vases, we'll go
over fitting varieties and appropriate placement, proper conditioning and after care to
keep your buds looking fresh, and designing around a tablescape.

Industry Focus: Advanced

Welcome summer heat with tropicals! You'll create a modern arrangement with tropical
blooms and foliage in a contemporary container. Sarah will guide you on foundational
mechanics and intentional placement, while sharing valuable industry tips and tricks from
her 15+ years experience. This advanced class is a perfect 'level up' for aspiring designers
wanting to break into more advanced design styles.

Immerse yourself in the quiet luxury of floristry's most popular variety: Roses! We'll learn
everything there is to know about these staple blooms, from conditioning them upon
buying, to making them look their best selves in an arrangement. We'll then create a
simple (yet stunning) composition in a lovely container, using roses and spray roses (and a
dash of rosé...)

From start to finish Twinbrook made everything so easy and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out!! Their communication was amazing and they truly made our vision reality.
